Volunteer by Leading Conversation Groups in Chinatown!
CVM AmeriCorps is looking for volunteers that can help adult English Language Learners in Chinatown practice their English skills! Basically, we need you to facilitate conversation groups by talking about sports, shopping, cooking, business, interview skills, anything! The students are really eager to practice their English and would sincerely appreciate your help, time, and commitment! And remember, this will count as service hours.
Conversation groups take place on Fridays, from 6:30 to 8pm! Our first one is on February 11th!
This is a one-time or long-term volunteer opportunity. You can come in for one Friday or several Fridays. Pass this great opportunity to your friends!
